Project Description

The rebirth of the historic area of Alfa Romeo in Arese.
EuroMilano is carrying out an important redevelopment project with the aim to improve the existing spaces on Alfa Romeo former production plant estate. A converted area will be given to the inhabitants, perfectly matching the surrounding urban fabric fitted with green spaces and services.
Ex- Alfa Romeo estate is strategic for the future development of Milan metropolitan area on the north-west axis , especially thanks to its proximity to Rho Fiera Milan trade fair and Expo 2015 area, and its connection with the major motorways and train railways:  Milan Turin Venice Motorway, Milan Varese motorway, Sempione State Road, Varese state Road, Milan West Ring Road, National Rail (high speed trains) and regional Rail (Ferrovie Nord Milano).
The strategic role is strengthened by the future perspective of important building projects which will rise in this area: the new City of Health and Research (Sacco Hospital, Besta Neurological Institute, National Institute of Cancer) and a Cascina Merlata redeveloped.

An urban project involving important town Councils in Milan hinterland.
Ex Alfa Romeo estate, whose total surface of about 900.000 thousand sqm, partly includes the villages of Arese, Lainate, Rho and Garbagnate Milanese.
EuroMilano is promoting the creation of a new outstanding residential development and a commercial one, on a total gross surface of 260,000 sqm. Thanks to its wide experience and  and high expertise in the urban development field, EuroMilano is both partner and promoter of the project, entitled with the coordination of project ideas and proposals and the management of the players acting in this challenging project.
A framework Planning Agreement, concerning the villages of Arese and Lainate, is going to be signed within 2011. It will include an Implementation Plan for the realization of the commercial development and subsequently the preliminary phase of the residential one.

Urban redevelopment plan of a former industrial area featuring residential use, commercial use and public green areas.

VIABILITY:

The area is linked to the main road and rail networks: Autostrada MI-TO-VE (Milan-Turin-Venice motorway) Autostrada dei Laghi (Milan-Varese motorway) Strada Statale del Sempione (Sempione state road) Varesina (Varese state road) Tangenziale Ovest (Milan West ring road) National Rail ( with high speed trains) Regional Rail (Ferrovie Nord).
